Stewardship of the land, not just a crop
We farm 6,000 acres of the Thessalian plain with one obligation: to hand the soil on as fertile as we found it. For us sustainability is not a label. It is the way our growers work every field, every season, and the reason we can prove it with measurement and certification.
Soil and water
Regenerative farming starts in the soil. We rotate crops to rest and rebuild the ground, and we monitor soil health field by field. Irrigation is measured and carried out under the proper licence, so water goes where the crop needs it and nowhere it is wasted.
Certified seed, low carbon
Our growers plant certified, non-GMO seed. We keep the carbon footprint of the crop low and use only authorised pesticides, applied at the rates and times our protocol sets. Stewardship here is ordinary work done carefully, season after season.
One shared protocol
None of this is left to chance from one field to the next. Our Quality and Certification department maintains a single production protocol that every member follows, so sound practice is the rule across the cooperative, not the exception.
Certification as proof
We produce to the AGRO 2 standard, with AGRO 2.1 and 2.2 in progress. EUcotton, Better Cotton, Green Cotton and ECOLABEL sit among our reference frameworks, and fibre quality is verified with the National Cotton Centre. Certification is how we turn a commitment into something a buyer can check.
Certifications & standards
Our fibre is produced to recognised European and international standards.
